of thought to this election. this was a guy who going into his convention, and not the most successful convention, either, was still having trouble getting people really excited about his campaign. has he turned that around? >> you know, there's two things here. i mean, we talked about this all the way going up to the debate how important that debate was, and it was very important for mitt romney, and now we're seeing the benefits for him, that he had a really good debate. the other thing is, i think when you talk to a lot of republicans before the debate, they would say variations of romney needs to show people that he is an alternative to obama, that he's someone who could be president. and i think in this debate, a lot of people thought that he showed that. and so, that's why you see, i mean, this enthusiasm. romney needs people to go out and vote, so this is a good indicator for republicans. >> and yet, the obama campaign thinks they have found something out of that debate that could work for them, which brings us to the "sesame street" ad. we played it. it's something president ob
